Our Wedding

Titanic and Harry Potter was in theatres. Princess Diana died in a car crash. Bill Clinton was President. Two strangers bumped into each other while working at Heritage National Bank in Pottsville. With the assistance of a mutual friend they went out on their first date. They were head over heels for each other. But, alas, it wasn't meant to last. She moved to North Carolina to work with NASCAR. He left the bank and moved to Harrisburg.

They lived separate lives for many years. The mutual friend from the bank messaged her and asked Deb if she was getting a divorce? Deb said "Yes". The friend said, "Do you know Kevin is single?" Deb's response was, "That ship has sailed."
 
Then one day in June of 2024 she looked him up on Facebook and sent a friend request. The slick guy he was, immediately accepted the request and sent a private message. They spent hours messaging, then calling, and finally started to video chat. She told him that in a few days she was going to be in Hershey for her son's high school graduation. They made plans to "see each other" at the restaurant she was having a graduation dinner at. He was nervous and spilled soda all over his truck on the way there. She was afraid they were going to miss each other because they were getting ready to leave. Then "BAM!" he walked in the door. Their eyes met and time stood still. She walked over to say "Hi". It was hard to believe 27 years had passed since they had last set eyes upon each other. That was it, they were not going to let this opportunity pass. This was true love.
 
Now they are taking the next step in their relationship. The best step. We look forward to celebrating this new journey with all our family and dear friends.

Deb's oldest and dearest best friend/sister.  In second grade we met at a mutual friends birthday party.  That night I told my mother I met my best friend.  Watch out for her swerving for ants.

Donna's Thelma to Deb's Louise. They were born hours apart in the same hospital, and delivered by the same doctor.  Fast forward to 2002 and they ended up working together at the same place. If there is trouble to be had, these two will get into it.  Ghost hunting anyone?

Deb's other bestie. Our parents went to school together. We went to church together and played our flutes in the annual Christmas program. Kim's nickname for Deb is "Blueberry".  In the  1990's they were known for "cruising" the streets of Schuylkill Haven. Ask Kim about Deb's cake eating lessons for children.

Kim Suda

Deb & Lisa went to school together. You could find them cutting a rug at Rumor's Lounge on Sunday evenings.Like Deb, Lisa has her Masters in picking blueberries!  Lisa introduced Deb & Kevin the first time when they all worked together at Heritage National Bank.  She was also the reason they got back together almost 30 years later.

Lisa Jordan

Deb's niece/mini-me.  Love's to paint Nathan, David, and Uncle Kevin's toe nails. Her ideal meal is a jar of pickles. She's dangerous with slime!

Emily Huntzinger

Kevin's cousin and co-conspirator.  Accomplished sailor. Math wiz. Kevin's wing-man. No chip bowl? No problem. Danny will find anything to put his chips in.

Daniel Tobin

Kevin's Irish twin and sparring partner. Mavy's "Pappy". Expert in equine beauty. In his spare time he enjoys the outdoors and bird watching.

Edward Lubinsky

Kevin's friend and long time accomplice in feats that cannot be discussed in public. Expert in all things electrical, beer related, and losing at gun raffles.

Ronald Hallick

Kevin's college roommate. Once avoided law enforcement, now is in law enforcement. If you find your car on blocks, you know Brian and Kevin had something to do with it.  Can't find your wheels? Don't worry they will draw you a map on where to find them.

Tour the house where the only civilian was killed during the battle.

Take a bus from the tour center. Step back into the 1950's.Interesting and educational tour.

Eisenhower National Historic Site

Drive thru tour. There is a monument on Cemetery Hill dedicated to troops from Schuylkill County. Leave a dog biscuit for the Irish Wolf Hound.

Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center

This is right next door to the hotel. This is where Lincoln came in at when he gave the Gettysburg Address. The house that he wrote the address is across the street from the hotel.
